Preceding her in death was her husband of 59 years, Bill Beem, sisters Mildred Murdock Crocker of Girard, KS, Mary Martin of Albuquerque, NM, brother Clyde Stewart of Deming, NM, and grandson William (Billy) Truschke. Also surviving is her sister-in-law Betty Beem Cline of Shawnee Mission KS, Jody Stewart of Deming, NM, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is survived by 3 daughters Fern Truschke Stuart (Mike) of Independence, MO, Freda Blizzard (Bruce Summers) of Houston, TX, and Faye Genova of Overland Park, KS. She graduated from Meriden High School in 1946. She attended a one-room school for the first 6 grades. After losing her mother at age 6, the family moved to a farm in Meriden, KS in 1934.
